LASU Sacks 13 Junior Workers For Falsification


The management of the Lagos State University has dismissed 13 workers for alleged falsification of their West African Junior School Certificate Examination results and stealing diesel. Out of the 13 junior staff dismissed by the school, two of them – Olatunji Olasunkanmi and Okunsanya Olashile – were accused of stealing 200 litres of diesel each.

The names of the affected workers were released by the LASU Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations, after the management of the school approved their dismissal.

A statement by the centre read in part, “The Lagos State University Governing Council at its 112th statutory meeting on Thursday, October 20, 2016, received and considered Paper No. 10/GC/16/068 on the Report of Junior Staff Disciplinary Committee on allegations levelled against some members of staff.
