The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has urged all marketers of petroleum products not to sell kerosene beyond N150 per litre.
The Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Dr. Maikanti Baru made remark during a courtesy visit to
the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun in Abeokuta this week.
The Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Garba Deen Muhammad revealed this in a statement on Friday quoted him as saying,
“I am calling on other marketers to emulate NNPC by selling kerosene at maximum of N150 per litre which also provides sufficient margin for them to do so. We are committed to promoting the use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as an alternative choice for home cooking, which is also available at our NNPC Retail stations.”
