A stunning goal from Jesse Lingard was all Manchester united needed to seal their F.A cup victory against crystal palace. Manchester United's love affair with the FA Cup continued in dramatic style at Wembley as the Reds beat Crystal Palace 2-1 to win the competition.
Louis van Gaal's men had to come from behind after conceding a 77th-minute opener scored by Jason Puncheon and equalised swiftly through Juan Mata to take the final into extra-time.
United suffered a blow in the additional period of 30 minutes when Chris Smalling was sent off for a second bookable offense but the remaining ten men rallied to great effect and Jesse Lingard smashed in a stunning volley with 10 minutes left on the clock. It was a fitting goal to win the Cup and it triggered tremendous celebrations when referee Mark Clattenburg blew the final whistle.
