Popular South African rapper AKA tweeted his disappointment and rage at the extra coverage given to Paris and Brussels in the wake of the terrorist attacks on their soil, as opposed to the coverage given to Nigeria and Africa in general. He echoed the sentiments of Prof. Wole Soyinka though in less refined language.
Professor Wole Soyinka once said, in a Harvard symposium, that “there is inequality everywhere, victims of terrorism are as important as where they met their fate, when your plane is bombed over Ireland you are more important than when your plane is downed over Porto-Novo”
